Youth Pastor - Dr. Cheryl Harris

Children's Ministry - Sharon SommersSharon

Sharon sees her work directing the children's ministry as a joyful task. "I just think working with kids is what I was called to do," she explained.  "I love Jesus! I love kids, so I get to put them together.  Pretty cool job!"

Sharon has four children and one grandchild that she delights in caring for.  She has been a preschool teacher and has homeschool experience with her own children.  Sharon easily identifies with kids and enjoys doing what she can to make sure the children at Kinney Avenue learn to walk in ways that please the Lord.

Church Secretary - June Lumley

June

June has nearly thirty years of administrative experience having worked for ten years for the President of the Thomson Corporation in Austin, Texas as Executive Assistant and in the same capacity for two School Superintendent’s in Vermont and Florida.

June was involved for ten years in Christian Business and Professional Women’s Club in Connecticut serving as Music Chairman and Co-Chairman. She was born and raised in Connecticut but never misses an opportunity to praise her life in Austin as “the best”!

Her passion is her family and friends! Her hobbies are decorating, cooking, reading and music!

It didn’t take long for her (as she tells the story), to “fall in love” with KACF. A widow of almost ten years, she finds working with the Pastor and members a joyful experience that allows her to share her life and gifts that she has been so blessed with over the years!
